Check out my VideoGameFanatik site for a review of Prince of Persia Classic for XBOX Live Arcade!

So I find this article quite funny. We're essentially allowing ultra-conservatives to run this country. Tell you what, why don't we all convert to being Amish and suddenly the world will be a better place. Because, you know, violence didn't exist before video games! And this whipping-boy mentality hasn't ever happened before for media and genres that are now considered acceptable (rock n roll, movies, etc.)...

And the best part is that because of a few uptight citizens, the Chicago Transit Authority stands to lose potentially $205,400 in revenue from the GTAIV ads alone. And the complaints weren't even about these ads, they were about the GTA San Andreas campaign from almost four years ago!!! Talk about not letting go of the past :)

I'm going to start complaining to my congressmen about shit that I find offensive, like bad drama movies and daytime talk shows. I find these things offensive, so shouldn't they be pulled from the market? Maybe I should start a petition...

The Penny Arcade game looks great! All gamers out there, casual or hardcore, should check out this game, and if you haven't read the comic, go to penny-arcade.com!

Later all.

Things are going well still. The boys are growing up so fast and they're really starting to understand me when I ask them to show me where something is or to go get me something. It's great! They know how to say kitty cat, mama, dada, dog, and they are trying for some more words. Mikey is really the more intellectual one, and Tyler the more physical of the two.

Otherwise, we plan to have a fun week of activities and whatnot...should be an excellent time!

So I've decided to start a new web log for anyone who reads it. I think this time I will focus more on the positive things, like the tasty bread that Shannon and I baked today and the boys' smiles!

Things are going well, with the family and school. Everyone is healthy and happy so things are really great. Shannon and I are very thankful that she has such a great place to work, despite some of the stress that is inherent in any job. Without that, we might go without food or other necessities, so thank you, Shannon's employers!

As someone has told me time and time again, "You'll make it, in spite of yourself" :) Words of wisdom, I guess. To me it means that despite your own weaknesses, keep hope that your strengths will shine through and try to maintain a positive outlook.

Well, if I remember, I'll try to post to this more often in the near future and keep everyone up to date on what is going on. I hope everyone is happy and healthy as well, and having a great time doing whatever it is you all do. Best wishes!
